Books, stories, life histories, inspirational texts, business how-to’s, textbooks, as well as the tools-of-the-trade…pens, colored pencils, paper, and of course, keyboards and software are my favorite things. And, the individuals who make books come to life—unique human beings, writers, editors, agents, publishers—are my favorite people.
As the Dog-Eared-Ghostwriter I spend time with my favorite people, doing the things I love.
I have an extensive background in editing, writing, marketing, sales, university-level teaching, and just simply living life. My career experience includes two decades working for a Fortune 10 company, a decade teaching business courses in an MBA program, and now over a decade operating my own independent editing, writing, coaching, and consulting firm.
My experience has taught me dedication, professionalism, integrity, thoroughness, and thoughtfulness are the distinguishing characteristics that exemplify extraordinary work, easily setting it apart from mundane imposters.
I hold a PhD in Adult and Professional Education from Texas State University, an MBA in International Business from the University of Texas, San Antonio, and a master’s level designation as a Certified Professional Ghostwriter from California State University, Long Beach.
